There is tension and confusion in Douglas House (Government House) as Gov. Owelle Rochas Okorocha fails to return today as speculated by his aides.
Some workers in the government house was seen early this morning discussing the rumour that was spreading around that Rochas Okorocha has passed away in Indian hospital.
Though, some of the governor’s aides has denied the rumour but refused to say where Okorocha is and why he did not return today as earlier planned. Those that are very close to the governor choose to remain silent on the matter pending the investigation of the rumour, one of the senior aide warns that he will not be surprise if the rumour turn out to be true.
Meanwhile, the deputy governor, Mmadumere, appears to have found himself in a very situation just like former VP Goodluck Jonathan was in during the Yar’dua’s sick leave.
Information filtering in from Owerri has it that Imo Chief Of Staff (COS) appears to be running the affairs of the state while the Deputy governor runs the errands.”
Most churches in the state have taking it upon themselves to organize prayer vigil to deliver Okorocha from the aftermath of his encounter with the ghost which many believe have caused him to develop mental problem.
As we can recall that sometime last week, Okorocha was reported of seeing a ghost who appears to be a woman with a child in his office. According to our source in Imo State Government house, Governor Okorocha suddenly started shouting in his office… “who brought this woman here?”. When his aids rushed into the office they saw absolutely nobody with the number one man in the state. Out of curiosity they asked the Governor what the problem was and which woman he was referring to but he was still shouting… “I said who brought this woman here?”
Another source reliably informed us that the disappearance of the ghost said to be carrying a little baby, and an exchange that occurred between the Governor and the Ghost woman made the Governor to start shouting. ..”who brought this woman here” … raising an alarm and immediately the woman was said to have disappeared. The governor’s close aides immediately arranged for abroad treatment of the Chief executive, confusing it with business engagements.
Meanwhile, Information from diaspora suggest that the situation is getting worst and the Governor has been moved to India where he was diagnosed with “Schizophrenia” which is a long time mental disorder and it was said that he is receiving medical attention through unorthodox means.
